The original Waterford Crystal Sports & Leisure Complex opened in 1971 and was situated on nearly 20 acres of land in the Ballinaneeshagh area on the Cork Road.

The main objective of this sports complex was to promote health & fitness within the local community. The provision of a state-of-the-art sports complex was seen by many to be ahead of its time.

Refurbished in 2001 the complex is now one of the most modern facilities in the country.

Our ongoing commitment to the people of Waterford and its environs is reflected in our pay-as-you-go and discount card system which we believe is extremely user-friendly and cost-effective when compared to the expensive annual membership fees of other sports facilities.
